Just a Late Evening
Well it's just another late evening, at least this time my wife has the night off, which is a plus. Also she has this weekend off which will be nice. Though she already has chores for me to do this weekend. Some of my chores are cleaning up the yard from where there is leaves and dead plants, put together my new lawn mower, clean the house and help get some of the laundry done. Should make for a busy weekend. The good news is that I took tomorrow off from work and I will be able to get a jump on all the work. I hoping to have all of it done by tomorrow so that I can spend the rest of the weekend relaxing. With my brother-in-law coming up we are hoping to go and have some fun. I was thinking about going to the Detroit Institute of Art on Saturday. Since I've never been there I thought that it would be a great time. But we will see what Saturday brings us. For one it cost 8 dollars to get into the place plus gas to get there. It's kind of sad when you have to plan your trips around if you can afford the gas. Well if I do end up going to the Detroit I will be taking a ton of pictures and hopefully will have them up on Flickr or here...maybe both, we will see. Well I just that I would write some since it haven't been updating as much I will hopefully have something to put up here soon. I was thinking about putting up some of the pinup art that I like. Let me know what you think. I hope that you have a great evening.

Working in the Flowers Today
Here are some of my pictures that I took today. I was really hoping to do an HDR photo of some flowers, but I didn't have my tripod on me and I couldn't get the photos to line up. But I did get these instead. Let me know what you think. Also I know that I have been doing the flowers a lot lately, but I don't have to much to work with right now, I plan on going up to the Capitol in the next couple of days to get some picture, I hoping to get both day and night shots. Should look good.

Wal-Mart Let's Debbie Shank Keep Her Money
A former Wal-Mart employee who suffered severe brain damage in a traffic accident won't have to pay back the company for the cost of her medical care, Wal-Mart told the family Tuesday. "Occasionally, others help us step back and look at a situation in a different way. This is one of those times," Wal-Mart Executive Vice President Pat Curran said in a letter. "We have all been moved by Ms. Shank's extraordinary situation." Wal-Mart's health care plan lets the retail giant recoup the cost of its expenses if an employee collects damages in a lawsuit. And Wal-Mart set out to do just that after Shank and her husband, Jim, won $1 million after suing the trucking company involved in the wreck. After legal fees, the couple received $417,000.
On Tuesday, Wal-Mart said in a letter to Jim Shank that it is modifying its health care plan to allow "more discretion" in individual cases.Video Watch Wal-Mart reverse its decision "We wanted you to know that Wal-Mart will not seek any reimbursement for the money already spent on Ms. Shank's care, and we will work with you to ensure the remaining amounts in the trust can be used for her ongoing care," Curran said.
"We are sorry for any additional stress this uncertainty has placed on you and your family." Wal-Mart's reversal came as shock to Shank. "I (would) just like to let them know that they did the right thing. I just wish it hadn't taken so long," Shank said. "But I thank them and I hope they come through with all that they said they're going to do. [Source]
Well all I can say it thank the dear lord that they finally decided to let her keep the money. It would have been terrible if the company with have decided to take the money. This just goes to show you that if people unite then companies will listen to you. So kudos for Wal-Mart!

Rick Roll'd - Muppet Style
Well I know that I have been rick roll'd a couple of times, but I do believe that this is the best.
Rick Rolled - An internet prank or joke. Rick Roll, Rick Roll'd or Rick Rolling is an internet spam trick in which people post a link to a Rick Astley video on Youtube, but say the viewers of the video are being led to another video, usually proof of unconfirmed gaming news or trailers.

3rd-graders aimed to hurt teacher
A group of third-graders plotted to attack their teacher, bringing a broken steak knife, handcuffs, duct tape and other items for the job and assigning children tasks including covering the windows and cleaning up afterward, police said Tuesday. The plot by as many as nine boys and girls at Center Elementary School in south Georgia was a serious threat, Waycross Police Chief Tony Tanner said.
The children, ages 8 and 9, were apparently mad at the teacher because she had scolded one of them for standing on a chair, Tanner said. A prosecutor said they are too young to be charged with a crime under Georgia law. School officials alerted police Friday after a pupil tipped off a teacher that a girl had brought a weapon to school, Tanner said. Police seized a broken steak knife, handcuffs, duct tape, electrical and transparent tape, ribbons and a crystal paperweight from the students, who apparently intended to use them against the teacher, Tanner said. Nine children have been given discipline up to and including long-term suspension, said Theresa Martin, spokeswoman for the Ware County school system. She would not be more specific but said none of the children had been back to school since the case came to light. [Source]
Wow...what is this world coming too? This is ridiculous! Where were the parents of these students? I believe that these students should be more then just expelled. This just makes me sick to my stomach that anybody would have that much hatred and meanness in them that they would want to hurt another individual. Let alone a 3rd grader...these are suppose to be innocent children...

Zelda Movie?
The folks over at IGN decided to tackle one of hardest project in the video game industry...turning The Legend of Zelda into a movie. Take a look at the clip below.
Even though it looks kind of cheesy to myself, I still thought that it has potential. Too bad it's a hoax, IGN did this as an April Fools joke. I have to admit they did an excellent job on the video. On a personal note, I would love to see Link come to the big screen. In this day in age with many video games coming out as movies I would love to see a production company come out with this one. I know that Blizzard is in production right now with Legendary Films to produce the World of Warcraft film. Now I know what most of you are thinking. Why would you want to make another movie out of a video game, so many have been done and screwed up. My answer is, with the right cast and director anything is possible. Take a look at The Lord of the Rings, they did an excellent job on that movie, just need the right people. Let me know what games you think would look good on the silver screen.
On a final note...it would be interesting if they did make a movie out of the Grand Theft Auto series.
