Palin and Obama Kicking Butt

Labels: , ,

Well it looks like everybody is trying to cash in on the election this year, even video game companies. EA today announced that, as part of an upcoming update for Mercenaries 2, both Sarah Palin and Barack Obama will be made available as playable characters. Palin in her trademark red jacket and hair, Obama in his trademark...suit. This is a little crazy, but pretty darn funny if you ask me. I like watching Palin kick butt in the video below. Take a look.

So after watching this, do you think people are going to far with this, or is this all in good fun? I guess it good in a sense if it get people out there to vote for what they believe in, but I guess we will see what happens.

It Feels like Christmas!

Labels: ,

So with the cold weather here and Halloween about to pass I can help but fell like Christmas is right around the corner. A time filled with family and friends, a time for traditions, a time for celebration. I always get excited about this time. Now especially since our baby girl is here. So for you all I know this is early, but hey, it's my blog. Here's to the Christmas season coming up.

Side note: Roger I know that you will enjoy this. I hope this makes you day at work a little more enjoyable.

Spielberg Doesn't Want You to Vote

Labels: ,

This is a pretty interesting video. I just glad that it not supporting one or the other, it's just telling people to get out and vote. Everybody has a voice and everybody's vote counts. So get out a vote for what you believe in.

Art is...Crazy!

Labels: ,

So this one I have to thank /Film for finding. jCauty&SON are holding a Splatter exhibition at The Aquarium in London. The multi-media art show focuses on “the plausible impossibility of death in the mind of cartoon characters”.
Not sure really what to say to this...the only thing is WTF. Something as simple at the WB cartoons being portrayed like this is crazy. Now I know that that the cartoons were violent and that they were always trying to kill each other, but at the end usually everybody was okay. I guess that just kind of ruins them for me. Some consider this art, I appeantly don't see it. What do you think?

Wii Would Like to Play!

Labels: ,

So I picked up a Wii last week and have been enjoying it ever since. Last night while wasting some time I decided to download the classic Punch-Out game with Mr. Dream. The game was great. I love the fact that I can download these classic game onto the Wii and play them again. I downloaded Super Mario Brothers 3 a couple of days ago, talk about bringing back my childhood. That game was released backed in 1990. All I have to say is that its nice to see Nintendo giving people the ability to play these classic games. I am excited though about a new game that they are coming out with soon. It looks like they are going to re-release Punch-Out with updated graphics, check out the trailer below.

I think the updates look awesome, and I am looking forward to playing this. I have to say thank you to Brandon for showing this to me.

Harry Potter Returns this Summer

So here is the international trailer for Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince that is coming out July 17th 2009. From the looks of the trailer it looks awesome. Let me know what you think.

And The Winners Are?

So we had a photo competition at work about 2-3 weeks ago, and I have to say that one of my photos was chosen as a judges choice award. Now granted I didn't win first place, but it was great to take home this nice trophy for judges choice award. Above you can see myself and Mr. Keedy; who also won a judges choice award; displaying our trophies. Also below you can see the the photo that won it for me.

Crossroads Village and my Saturday

Labels: , ,

So we took our baby girl out today to Crossroads Village for some trick or treating. I was a lot of fun, except our baby girl slept through the hole thing, but it was still great to see her in her costume. The one thing is we never did get a picture of her in her outfit, so I have to dress her up again so I can get a picture of her. I did get some pictures from the day and a small video. The pictures below are not the highest quality because they are not the raw photos, they were jpg's that were created beside the raw. So I am hoping to get some time to work on the raw photos in the next couple of days. So we will see how they turn out. Enjoy the video and photos.

Zombie Pin-up Calendar...Say What?

Okay, this has to be the strangest thing I have ever seen. So for all you Zombie lovers, here is a calendar for you.

This 13 month calendar is stuffed with more dead sexy girls than you can fit in a shallow grave. We dug up the idea of the vintage 1950's pin-up and hit it over the head with a shovel. Let yourself get infected by these bloody gore-gous women who are just dying to get under your skin.

You can find the website here. I have to say that this is pretty interesting, it certainly is only for a certain niche for people. I will say that they did an excellent job with the make-up and the style of the photos. So just in time for Halloween!

Ron Howard wants you to Vote!

Labels: ,

Well we are about two weeks away from the election and more and more people are starting to come out and endorse their choice candidate. Ron Howard with Andy Griffith and Henry Winkler made a video endorsing Obama. Now I don't see myself as a very political man, I don't favor one side for the other, I just vote what I believe in. Now with that said, I am getting so tired of seeing and hearing all this commercials about this election, I will be glad when this is over. The reason I am posting this, is becuse it was a ginueinly good concept. I liked how they went back and recreated these old shows for this. Let me know what you think!

The Warcraft Retrospective - A History!

Labels: ,

A part one comprehensive look back at Warcraft; from Utopia to Warcraft Adventures. It really quite good, Gametrailers did an excellent job with this, I am looking forward to seeing part two. What can I say, I am still a WOWhead at heart. I can remember playing Warcraft 1 back in the day. Blizzard does always seem to out do themselves when it comes to their games. Enjoy the clip.

NES Art?

Labels: ,

So, I'm not sure about this, but I don't think I would pay $79.00 for this. Its a classic NES game mounted in a shadow box frame. Now I don't think I would pay 79.00 for this since I could do this myself, but why would someone want to mount a game in a frame, why not just get a classic system and play the game. Don't get me wrong, I do find this kind of cool, but not cool enough to pay 79.00 for it. So my question to you, would you pay 79.00 for this, if not what would you be willing to pay for something like this? Here is where you can see their website.

Well here is the wtf moment for today. I came across this on Dave and Thomas and had to say...huh? Who would make this for children...

My Saturday...in Pictures!

So this was my Saturday morning!

What happened?

To all my Michigan State Friends...what happened? Looks like my prediction of 17-13 OSU was wrong, but hey...there is always next weekend with Michigan.

Carmen Ohio

Though I was glad to see Ohio State win, it was only a bitter sweet victory because MSU lost. The positive for today is that Michigan lost to Penn State. I am looking forward to Spartans meeting up with the Wolverines next week and I hope that the Spartans will kick them up and down the field. So to all my Spartan friends, I hope this helps to ease the pain.

MSU Shadows

Oliver Stone's P.

Labels: ,

Not that I get into all this political stuff, but I just couldn't help myself with this one. Its pretty funny. Got to leave it to the Spill Crew to do something worth a nice chuckle.

Fall Colors

Just some fall colors from here in Michigan.
And last but not least....fall!

Dirty Joke...

Labels: ,

Nothing will ever prepare you for the first time you bring your child home from the Hospital. Nothing will ever prepare you for when they are crying and you can't calm them down, and there are no nurses to help you. When your child is crying and you can't figure out what they want, this is when you truly feel helpless.

I Am Back

Labels: ,

Well it's been a little while and I have been getting use to having a little one around the house and now I am back to work. So looks like everything is going back to normal, or the closest thing to normal. But the cool thing is fall is here which means the trees are changing and the weather is getting cooler. I am looking forward to Halloween, we got M a nice Halloween costume, she is going to be a kitty. Should be interesting. So to tide you over just a little bit I will post a few pictures from this weekend.
